Learn to Scuba Dive in 2 Days!

Ready to discover what’s beneath the surface? Our 2-Day Open Water Course is the perfect way to learn to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive and personal environment. We keep our classes small, with a maximum of just 4 students. That means plenty of individual attention from your instructor, more time to practise your skills and the chance to build confidence at your own pace. No crowded classes or feeling like just another number - we’re here to make learning to dive enjoyable, comfortable and memorable.

Over two full days, you’ll complete your training in the pool before heading out for 4 ocean shore dives around the beautiful bays and beaches of Magnetic Island. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and experience needed to become an SSI Open Water Diver and dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

• Digital e-learning materials that are yours to keep forever - handy for refreshing your knowledge long after your course
• SSI Open Water Diver certification - your licence to dive to 18m
• Pool training and skills sessions
• 4 ocean shore dives around Magnetic Island
• Scuba equipment hire for both days, including wetsuit
• Environmental Management Charge (EMC)

Duration: 2 days
Daily hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Class size: Maximum 4 participants

Itinerary: Day one includes a pool session and ocean shore dive 1. Day two involves the remaining three ocean shore dives and your exam.

Courses are usually offered twice a week, with weekend courses available. Check our calendar for current course dates and availability.

Personal Gear Requirements

To get the most out of your training, you’ll need your own mask, snorkel and fins.

You can:

• Bring your own gear
• Purchase your own gear — students receive 10% off in store
• Hire a mask, snorkel and fin set for $25 per day
